Opening of “Architect” sculpture group
On March, 4, 2009 “Architect” sculpture group was unveiled in the 15th microdistrict avenue on the birthday of the main Zelenograd architect, director of PMT “Zelenogradprojekt”, USSR People’s Artist and Honoured Architect of Russia Igor Alexandrovich Pokrovskiy (1926-2002). Igor Alexandrovich served as a prototype for the composition.

On March, 20 the State Zelenograd Museum of local history and lore celebrated its 40th anniversary.

The Kovcheg national academic choir (Zelenograd Palace of Culture) won the Grand Prix of the 2nd International Choir Festival and Competition "Northern Lights"
Andrey Chernetsov, an artistic director of the choir, was awarded the Certificate for the best adaptation of folk songs"

Palace of Children and Youth hosted interactive exhibition contest "The year of 1812 in Russian history"
The exhibition featured individual and collective works of pupils and students, as well as the works of teachers from educational institutions of the district.

The night of April 21 was marked by the first All-Russian action Biblionoch.

Presentation of the Book "Sergey Mikhailovich Butuzov"
S.Butuzov devoted his entire life and activity to serve the great country of the USSR and its people. He is considered to be one of the founding fathers of Zelenograd, a center of Russian microelectronics.

2015 year April
April 21 'Khachkar' cross opened in Zelenograd in memory of victims of genocide
The Memorial Cross was installed according to the initiative of the Chairman of the Armenian National Cultural Autonomy of Zelenograd I.Galstyan.
