The municipal cemetery of Zelenograd held the burial of the remains of the Red Army soldier of 50 Rifle Division I. Khvorostukhin.

Ivan went missing in November 1941 in the Battle of Moscow. And after 69 years his remains were found in the Odintsovo district.
It is an exceptional event for Zelenograd. Earlier, six soldiers of the Red Army were buried in a mass grave "Soldier stars", but they were all unidentified.
Ivan Khvorostukhin is the first soldier identified in this mass grave.
Ivan Khvorostukhin has long been considered to be missing. But all these years his family remembered him.
Anatoly Ivanovich, the youngest son of the Red Army soldier,
attended the ceremony.  A. Smirnov, a prefect of Zelenograd Administrative District of Moscow,  presented A. Khvorostukhin Russian flag and a personal helmet of his father.
