Opening of children's music school

Opening of children's music school (¹ 53, on authority of the Resolution of the Moscow City Council of Working People's Deputies from 26th June, 1969, ¹ 28/34). In 1996 the school was named after M.P.Mussorgsky.

“Vedogon-Theatre” opened its doors
Autumn of 1992 witnessed the first theatrical season of Vedogon theatre open by the first night of the performance “About good places, light dreams and damned life” based on P. Romanov’s stories and staged by P. Kurochkin.

Two First Nights

This spring Zelenograd drama theatre “Vedogon-theatre” showed 2 premieres. Both opening nights were a sell-out and favorably reviewed.

Tree of happiness
The Alley of Love held the grand opening of Tree of Happiness right on the west side of the school’s pond. Decorative open-worked wrought tree has made local landscape more attractive and charming.

Opening of “Architect” sculpture group
On March, 4, 2009 “Architect” sculpture group was unveiled in the 15th microdistrict avenue on the birthday of the main Zelenograd architect, director of PMT “Zelenogradprojekt”, USSR People’s Artist and Honoured Architect of Russia Igor Alexandrovich Pokrovskiy (1926-2002). Igor Alexandrovich served as a prototype for the composition.

40th anniversary of the Museum of Local History and Lore
On March, 20 the State Zelenograd Museum of local history and lore celebrated its 40th anniversary.

The Vedogon Theatre is the winner of the International Theatre Festival
The Vedogon Theatre received a theatre "Mask" of the X International Theatre Festival "Voices of History".

The Gratsiya ballet studio is the 1st in Classic Dance category of international contest
Kekelidze Ana and Benediktova Lisa took the first place in "solo" category

Zelenograd art groups awarded the title of national
According to the Order of the Department of Culture of Moscow the art groups of cultural institutions of Zelenograd Administrative District of Moscow acquired the title of "Folk Group of Amateur Art of Moscow".

Zelenograd citizens are the laureates of Sacred Music Contest Festival
Two groups of the Lel choral music centre of the Palace of Children and Youth became the laureates of the Rozhdestvenskaya pesn junior choir contest festival of sacred music as part of International Orthodox Music Festival in Russia

Kolomna admired Zelenograd enamel artists
The works of Zelenograd artist Ludmila Annenkova and her students have been exhibited in the suburban town of Kolomna.

Vedogon Theatre won Zolotoy Vityaz Prize
One of the Zolotoy Vityaz prizes went to the Vedogon Theater (Zelenograd) for the play Vassa, directed by Anatoly Ledukhovsky.

Orlyata choir from Zelenograd won Hungarian Spring 3rd International Festival-Contest (1st place)
The festival contest involved 14 teams from different countries: Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Czech Republic, Indonesia and Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow) aged from 9 to 25.

Performance of Zelenograd Vedogon Theatre won Golden Mask National Theatre Award
Staging of Vassa was acknowledged best in the category "Drama. Small form".

Zelenograd creative teams won Theatre Olympus-2015 Competition
There was a ceremony of awarding the winners and participants of the City Festival 'Theatre Olympus-2015' held in Theatre Institute n.a.Shchukin.
